Guidelines for Registration

In order to register for ECP2010 in Aalborg, Denmark, companies have to complete the registration form.

 

The registration form is necessary in order to be included in the actual matchmaking process running prior to as well as during ECP2010.

 

How to complete the company profile

The company profile has to be completed in English online in the registration system either by the company itself or by the responsible national ECP2010 partner.

 

The registration form has three pages. Please notice that you have to fill out one page at a time in sequenced order.

 

The company profile is divided into the following:

 

Name of the company: Fill in data.

 

Name of participants: If two people from the same company are participating, you will have to choose if they want separate meetings. I.e. instead of 2 people meeting 1 company, they can split up and meet one company each. If more than 2 people from the same company wants to participate in the matchmaking a minor fee will be applied - please contact the matchmaking administrator Hanne Brixen by e-mail: hbb@aalborg.dk or phone: + 45 99 31 15 36.  

 

Company information: In this section you can provide important information about your company and, in your own words, describe products, services and activities. Remember to fill in the activity code(s) which corresponds to the activities of the company.

 

Cooperation proposal: In this section you have to mark the areas, in which you offer and request co-operation. In order to make a successful and accurate matchmaking please list the activity code(s) for each of the sections you mark.

 

Contact Wishes: In this section you have to describe in your own words, what kind of cooperation you are looking for. The summary will be used as a teaser in the printed catalogue and could for instance be: A Danish producer of organic vegetables is looking for tradeintermediaries in China. In the specification you should provide a more detailed version of your proposal. Please be advised that the first 200 characters of the specification will be shown in the online catalogue - It is therefore recommended that you start out with the text from the summary. You also need to chose the geographic areas you are interested in as well as your requirements for a potential partner. In the bottom of this section, you have the opportunity to request meetings with the already registered companies.

 

After pressing “Check my profile”, you and the responsible national ECP2010 partner will receive an e-mail which confirms the submission of the profile and explains the payment procedure. This confirmation e-mail also contains the company profile as you have submitted it.

 

For European companies: When the organiser have received your payment, your company profile will be activated and published in the online catalogue.

 

For Chinese companies: Your company profile will be activated and published in the online catalogue as soon as we get a comfirmation of your details from your national partner.   

 

How to book meetings with other participants

After submitting your profile, please visit the online catalogue on a regular basis in order to see if there are new registered companies, you would like to meet.

 

In the online catalogue you will find a list of the registered companies. You can narrow down the number of shown companies under the action pane “search companies”.

 

In the final section “Wishes” please fill in your contact details and select the companies, you are interested in.

 

The matchmaking will be based on the company profiles and requests received with the online registration. In the online catalogue you will have the opportunity to view profiles of other participants. If you find any profiles of interest you are able to book meetings online.

 

Please note that other companies might request meetings with you as well, so you should leave room for this in your schedule.

 

Requests for matchmaking sessions close one week before the event. We will do our utmost to accommodate your wishes and requests regarding the matchmaking sessions. Each matchmaking session will last 30 minutes.

 

You will receive an updated version of your scheduled meetings september 6th 2010 at the registration desk.
